Sync issues with streaming services
When syncing with my Disney plus account the shows import fairly well (some gaps with random episodes being selected as watched but others not) however all of the episodes watch date and time are the time I pressed the sync button in wetrakr. I've done this a few times now and always get the same outcome. Also prime seems to sync then fail and nothing imports and then says reconnect
Dynamic lists not filtering language
When I Browse All and add filters like Original Language or Spoken Language and then create a new Dynamic List from the filters, the list includes all language (the language filter is not carrying over to the Dynamic List).
Differentiate between LOTR Extended and Standard Versions
I don’t believe TMDB has the data for this, though.
Simkl Import Sometimes Incorrectly Marks Anime Seasons as Completed
I've noticed an issue during Simkl import where some anime seasons are incorrectly marked as Completed. This seems to happen when a new season hasn't been added to the user's Simkl list, but individual episodes from that season have been marked as watched. Instead of importing only the watched episode information, the import sometimes marks the entire season as Completed. Expected behaviour: Only episodes that are actually watched should be marked as watched. If a season hasn't been added to the Simkl list, it shouldn't automatically be marked as Completed Actual behaviour: Some seasons are imported as Completed even though they haven't been added to the Simkl list and only individual episodes have been marked as watched. Testing: I've only observed this with Anime, not Series. Specials don't seem to be affected, although this hasn't been fully confirmed. Could you check whether the import is confusing episode-level watch history with the overall completion status of a season?
Calendar Following
Calendar layout format At present. iPad landscape mode shows the entire month by day in a vertical column. This is counter intuitive to how our brains work reading left to right. Portrait mode works fine. I’d like to propose a different calendar view as adopted by bingebase. On Progress, clicking on Season should go to the Season Page
Clicking on the episode opens a popup with the episode details, but the season page is better for when you want to see all the episode names at once. There’s already season pages (seasons/1) so clicking on Season 1 to see Season 1’s page is a no-brainer.
Support for Anilist tags
Use the tag system from Anilist for the Anime titles in WeTrakt as it is more accurate compared to the TMDB alternative
Ability to exclude or include lists from another list
The ability to exclude or include lists in a list would help us create better, more accurate lists. For example, I can create a list of Marvel Movies and Spiderman movies, and then exclude the Spiderman movies from the Marvel Movies list, are they are made by Sony technically.
Country preference in settings is also applied in lists despite selecting different countries in filter
Right now, if we create a list and apply a certain country in the filter, the filter also takes notes of the country preference of the profile. For example, if I set my country to United Kingdom and then create a list with united states in filter, only 23 movies are retrieved. But I change my country to US and use the same filters, 142 movies are retrieved
Add "Current Season release date" filter for Shows
Right now, we can only filter with air date which makes it hard to create lists with older shows releasing new seasons. The list gets filled with new shows. If wetrakr has current season release date and original air date filters, we can make it so that the latest shows are ignored and only the older shows (Like Abbott Elementary") are pulled in the list.
Scroll issue with "where to watch" filter
Currently there is no way to scroll past “cineverse” in the where to watch filter.
Unreleased movies displayed even though Digital & Physical is selected
Even if we select digital and physical releases in the filter, movies that are only in theatres like Wicker and Other mommy are being displayed. This is an unexpected result.
Quick toggle to hide unreleased filmed in filmography pages
There’s a release date filter but a check box would be quicker
Indication for watched episodes in calendar
I would like an indicator like a checkmark or something for watched episodes in the calendar. Opening the month view and quickly being able to see what episodes I’ve seen and missed is something I used all the time with Trakt.
List appearing in search leads to 404 Not Found
Searching for lists about Babylon 5 yields three results at the moment. One of them might be in the search index by mistake, as clicking it leads to a 404 Not Found error: The result highlighted in green above leads to https://wetrakr.com/lists/21372 which only shows the Not Found error:
Web notification settings and descriptions run together
There isn’t enough CSS applied to the setting names and descriptions under “Settings” > “Notifications” > “Notifications on the web”, and they run together: I’d expect some differentiation of the two with font styling (bold), and/or a delimiter (newline or colon) between them.

Choose your own poster art as the main poster. Some posters are locked in tmdb. Be nice to be able to select your own poster and backdrop. Per user not for everyone.
